Yesterday LP has given a last concert of her Tour of Russia. She performed at Rosa Hall in Sochi for more than thousand fans. Before the concert LP enjoyed a ride in a mountain gondolla, while boys & staff from her band hit the Sochi slopes. The concert started as planned, LP was showered with gifts by her fans, including football (LP played soccer in her youth) and many flowers, especially roses. She said that “you (your?) guys roses game is on point”. Video here.
During the show LP came down from the stage and has given as many autographs as she could. Today’s post will be rather short as I couldn’t find any quotes or additional info. I recommend, again, checking Tasha’s (@mishkayork) Instagram, she shared some lovely videos from last night. There was a funny situation, when LP came to the barriers and as she was passing along, Tasha dropped her phone, LP came back and handed it her. You can watch it here.
After the concert LP signed her poster for the venue, video is here. She also met with her friend Kirill Dzham, Effective Records/MGMT owner. Kirill handed LP a Gold Record for her “Lost On You” album, “Lost On You” as single went Platinum a couple of times! Huge congrats LP! I must say, with this tour Russia was really lucky to have LP for half a month and 9 concerts in total. It might have been cold outside but the atmosphere was really warm and welcoming.
Here in Poland we are still hoping for some dates, for now the closest one is in Prague, which btw sold out after hours. Thankfully with the help from my Czech friend I’ve got a ticket. She will have 3 concerts while in Turkey, one in Ankara and two in Istanbul. It’s a first time to LP to perform in this country, but from what I have seen and read she will be a huge hit with the audience.
