Another coverage of LP’s US tour. On the 17th May, free-from-the-show day, LP flew back to Los Angeles, to work for 16 hours straight on her latest music video to ‘When we’re High’, directed by Chuck D. Willis. By writing “Love working with this human… She flew in the day of the shoot and filmed 16 hours only to get back on a plane the next morning”, Chuck possibly meant the 14th May, but just to be safe I have added 17th May as well. No matter what, LP flew back, worked really hard, only to be on plane on the very next morning to continue her US tour.
On 18th May, LP played another sold out concert, this time in Parish, that’s in Austin, Texas. Located in the heart of downtown Austin in the historic 6th Street district, Parish is widely regarded as the best indoor live music venue in Austin, offering the highest quality production for artists and private events alike. Boasting a 450 capacity, Parish provides an intimate atmosphere for fans to experience musical legends as well as up and coming artists.
Again, coverage won’t be very long or detailed, just some of the comments I enjoyed the most. Americans perhaps are not as vocal about their ‘LP love’, but I do know/feel, that those who attended her concerts are very much in awe of her as a person, her singing skills, her vocals, her playing ukulele, guitar and harmonica, etc…. So let’s start with Colin (@colinccm): “as usual, @smashleyinwonderland drags me out of the house and I end up having fun. @iamlpofficial is f’ing killing it”.

I don’t know what it is about this song, but I also cry each time I hear it… Sylvan (@sylvan_songs) “LP (Laura Pergolizzi) at Parish Austin. Holy hell, that woman’s voice is magnificent! One of the best shows I’ve seen in 2017”. Ann (@annfromoutterspace): “I was so happy I got to be so close to this amazing human being. LP was beyond amazing and her voice is unreal ♡ Thank You ♡ Texas Loves You ♡ “.
