Today will be a rather short post, sadly very little was shared. Anyway, on the 16th May LP arrived to Denver for the next gig of her US tour, at Bluebird Theater. Before the show LP shared short clip via her InstaStory. Next to the music venue is the hairdresser called Babooshka! And in honour of LP’s concert they did the sign advertising “Do your hair like LP!” If you ask how? Well, they say, Step 1: Come inside. Step 2: Ask for the “Into The Wild”. Whoever come up with this, is a genius! Btw, I do love LP’s curls. LOVE!
As for the music venue, The Bluebird Theater was built in 1913 and originally named after the prominent Denver grocer and druggist, John Thompson. The theater was renamed in 1922 and became an important part of the community. The theater was also initially a movie house and went through various phases over the years. In 1994, Chris Swank and a business partner invested in the Bluebird and it re-opened as a mecca for music that you know today. The theater is laid out in tiers with a balcony overlooking the entire space.
The setlist for Denver concert was pretty much the same as on the other concerts of this tour. The one song that was missing is ‘Someday’ from 2014 record, ‘Forever For Now’. For pic of setlist click here. Michael Cordova (@wickedcordova) took many pics & short clips of LP’s concert, so I recommend visiting his Instagram. He also met LP prior to her performance.
After her Denver concert LP was given a new nickname by at least 2 people, and it is a ‘panty dropper’! Meissa (@denversee) wrote: “Just that you could cut me loose… After everything I’ve lost on you… Is that #lostonyou”. “All the panties just dropped” I’m 100% certain that I can accurately speak for everyone in the audience when I say, it moved”. Karen (@goatwave) added: “LP the panty dropper. Those pipes. Those whistles. Goodness”. I think it’s a very fitting nickname 🙂
That’s all for now! Sorry! But I will update this teeny tiny post when I will find someone who will be willing to write about the experience of LP’s concert. Also I recommend checking new article/interview with LP by Jodie Shepherd for Noctis Magazine, which LP given while in UK few weeks ago. It has some stunning portraits of LP by Caroline Quinn, for link click here. Today is free-from-the-show day for LP and her band, so I will be seeing you after 18th May.

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
