Yesterday LP was in Boise, Idaho. When I saw her Insta-story I immediately realized that she was with a visit to radio, so quick google search and I found out which one. Turned out she visited River Boise 94.9 FM radio for a live session and a really cool interview. LP was with Elias and Alex and they performed (unplugged) 3 songs in total, starting with ‘Girls Go Wild’. Now, this song is so rad and cool. Perfect for the radio. I have possible lyrics for you, but I will post them at the end of this post.
There was also rendition of ‘When We’re High’ and ‘Lost On You’. For full video including interview, go to radio’s Facebook by clicking here. You will also find there a small photo-gallery, click here. For all three songs in better quality visit roxxboise’s youtube channel by clicking here. Radio Boise (when I was writing my post) added a blog post of their own, about LP’s visit, and it is so worth reading. Check it here for all the extra details! You won’t be dissapointed.
In the evening LP performed at the Knitting Factory Concert House. The Knitting Factory was founded in 1987 and over the years has grown into Knitting Factory Entertainment (KFE). Its Boise venue opened in 2008. Very little was shared from the concert so only few quotes. I will start with those of Rochelle (from Radio Boise) and her friends: LP is “Like Shane from the L Word plus Stevie Nicks, but an angel added a ukulele and a harmonica plus more.”

Another friend of Rochelle’s whisper/giggled in her ear, “You know what’s funny? All these guys here tonight that are getting (lucky) after the show, are going to be with a woman who is thinking about LP!” Rochelle, thank you so much for letting me quote this!! All those quotes are from the blog post I have mentioned earlier.
Few more quotes found on Instagram, starting with Brooke (@bookishbrooke83): “#LP bringing down the house with her unique goosebump-inducing vocals”. Karen (@purewild_karen): “@iamlpofficial concert at the Knit was so fucking amazing!!! I am in awe!!”. Karyn (@water_buffalo): “LP was pure magic and fire tonight. I was absolutely blown away for 2 hours. Love getting to watch someone truly give their all at what they love. ❤️”.

Sean (@lfeztrfic9): “LP was absolutely enchanting. Just go see her live”. Meghan (@pyske): “I can die now”. Kyle (@trucktiva): “Man @iamlpofficial melted my face off”. @mommidiary: “We went to see #LP and #Noahkahan at the #knittingfactory and they rocked it out. Serious so good! LP is just such a talented artist. Her range is insane and she makes everything so interesting with her ukulele and whistling. The venue was super cramped but the sound was superb!”. There was also a big praise for Noah. And now, the lyrics.
‘Girls Go Wild’ – possible lyrics, with thanks to Bekki for her help!
I’ve been caged, I’ve been hounded,
I’ve been hunted and tamed
I’m the outlaw of outside and ready to rage
I’m in search of a heart I can eat to renew me
And I’m dazzled by all of the things that undo me?
O-ooh-oh
Girls go wild on the West Coast,
come on’ baby let’s go
That’s what she said
O-ooh-oh
Sunshine brighter than blind love it’s all in the name of the
Wild, Wild West
O-ooh-oh
Take my love, take my soul, you just take what you can
When we fuck now it feels like you don’t understand
Tell you what, it don’t suck? and I need you right now
You’re the one that I want so I won’t make a sound
O-ooh-oh
Girls go wild on the West Coast,
come on’ baby let’s go
That’s what she said
O-ooh-oh
Sunshine brighter than blind love it’s all in the name of the
Wild, Wild West
O-ooh-oh
I really love you, you know I really do
Whatever happens I hope you’re happy too
I really love you, so what you wanna do
O-ooh-oh
Girls go wild on the west coast, she wanted to let go
That’s what she said
O-ooh-oh
Sunshine brighter than blind love it’s all in the name of the
Wild, wild west
O-ooh-oh
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
