11th February and third night of LP’s Tour. Second night at the same venue, the Independent in San Francisco. Another sold out concert with old fans and newly conquered souls. And LP will do it, show after show. When you are in her presence, you will fall under her spell, that’s for certain. For review and professional pics of night one, please visit website of San Francisco Bay Area concerts, by clicking here.
Also I believe that guitarist’s name is Alex Feder, but I am not sure if I am right. If we found the right person, he’s been playing guitar for quite some time, has lots of experience and is also based in LA. But this it totally unverified. I still do not know the name of keyboard musician. Time will tell. The setlist was the same as on day 1 & 2 and probably there won’t be many changes during this tour, as it’s in support of ‘Lost On You’ album. For more new music, we will have to wait a little bit longer.
However ‘Girls Go Wild’ has been really warmly received and I smell a new radio hit! Again, since I’m not going to any of US concerts coverage won’t be very detailed but I always like reading other people’s thoughts after witnessing LP live. One of my readers, Lisa was one of those lucky people who got to saw LP in San Francisco. She wrote: “The show did not disappoint, it was full of the usual LP magic we all have come to expect”.
“The Independent is small (about 500) as is normal for her US shows and she is really at her best in smaller venues. Felt like being at home with LP performing in my living room. It is when she seems most comfortable and engages more with the crowd. She took a number of selfies with fans’ phones and jumped into the crowd at one point, which resulted in a slightly awkward and cute attempt to get back on stage with some assistance”.
“We were treated to a new song, Girls Go Wild, and she also performed Free To Love. I do not recall ever hearing that live so what a special moment!”. Oh yes Lisa, I do envy that one hearing live, as is wasn’t performed since 2014! Lisa also provided us with a setlist, but since it was the same as on previous shows, I won’t be writing it here. Lisa also recorded ‘Up Against Me’, and you can listen to it by clicking here. Thank you Lisa for getting in touch & writing your thoughts for my blog!
And now few of the quotes I liked the most, starting with Oshyan (@ogreenius): “@iamlpofficial being a badass with her tiny doppelganger lower right. Fucking powerhouse, goddamn this woman can sing (and whistle)!”. @visceralbraincuddles: “Otherworldly. Can’t wait to see her again at Coachella! #lp”. Bohdan (@bohdan_sf): “LP. No comments. The best thing that has happened to me lately ? “. Kristi (@kllamas): “BEST. NIGHT. EVAAAAAAAR. She fucking killlllllls”.
Mari (@maritet2): “LP in concert in San Francisco. It’s the highlight of our trip! Amazing show @iamlpofficial you have made our honeymoon! ❤️ saw you at ACL in 2012 and have been dying to see u again! You are a stunning proformer”. Alice (@missalicekitchen): “Kiss from LP. I didn’t know you before tonight. You burst hearts open. Thank you for your humble soul and your iconic talent. Tonight was one for the books”. Do check the video that goes with that quote!
Anna (@alederman): “I’ve been lucky enough to see some of the most incredible musical performances. Tonite, getting to see LP in her full stunning glory is a memory I will treasure forever!”. Afterwards, she added: “So thankful we got to see the very talented LP perform live tonite! Such an amazing show! ?#LP”. And MaryAnn who was to first three shows of LP’s US tour. @maryann.az: “@iamlpofficial “Your show was TRANSCENDENT!!” says a chick at a bar who was there last night; she saw my shirt and GROPED it!!”.
“Another girl, before the show was looking at it with DREAMY EYES, I think I’ll wear it every day from now on.? My mom sat on the side to enjoy your crowd from new point of view, she said everyone was ENTHRALLED; thoroughly enjoying the show, singing your songs, dancing and waving. This has been the best three days of my life; each encounter with you more thrilling then the last. Thank you #LP . NEW #favoritesong #GirlsGoWild literally for #iamlpofficial ?”.
Lucienne (@luciennesheyla): “I saw LP last night at The Independent in San Francisco. All I can say is that I am IN LOVE…with her voice, her spirit and her energy. Wonderful show last night @iamlpofficial!! Beautiful Heart! ❤️⭐️?”. That’s all for now. Today will be free from the show day, LP will resume her tour tomorrow in Vancouver, Canada. Pretty sure the band is already on their way to destination. And on a side note, I do miss LP’s voice live… Just listen to this and try not to cry… What.A.Talent.

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
