Last night, on the 2nd day of her tour, LP given another sold out show, this time at the Independent in San Francisco. This show sold out so quickly that they soon added second date for today. So San Francisco, you’ve got very lucky! LP was joined on stage by Noah Kahan again, but there will be some surprises during future shows, as LP’s bass player, Brian and his band, The Years, will open for LP in Seattle, Portland and Montreal! Good luck guys! Their music is quite eclectic, you should like it too!
The setlist was the same as in Sacramento, however LP let us know that the title of her newest song is actually ‘Girls Go Wild’, not gone, someone who wrote the setlist made an error. There were few familiar faces in the crowd, I saw members of Spanish fanclub and few fans from California. Also, lots of LP’s friends came from LA, to catch her live as well. I’m sure she had a blast! Judging from some Insta-story she is still catching up on her beauty sleep as I am writing my post ?
Sadly I am not able to catch LP during her US tour, so I will jump straight to quotes. Art of the Union (@sweet_rocket_99): “Last night I saw L.P. for the first time. Wow. She’s like a hybrid of Kate Bush and Stevie Nicks. That voice!!! Her song I wanna get high with you – my new theme song 4 sure”. It’s ‘When We’re High’, but as you are a new fan, just converted you are totally forgiven! Jen (@jengiles): “Now THIS was a #dopeshow. Only a handful of people sound as good live, if not better”.
Надин (@mircilla): “It was the best concert of my life, seriously ? LP or #LauraPergolizzi is unrealistically cool! Her energy, her message, her voice – just witchcraft. During my favorite song, which actually started my acquaintance and my love for her, “Lost on you”, I was so sobbing that I was afraid I will drop the phone. Do not hesitate, buy tickets in all the cities of Russia, where she will perform !! I am very impressed, friends!”.

LP Fan (@maryann.az): “LP, you are magnificent. No filter needed. Thank you for changing my life!! I am so much happier since I found you in June; my family agrees. Favorite new song #GirlsGoWild. Did you write this with Mike and Nate in the desert?? I love you ??”. Pao (@yosoypaolacruz): “I came across her on Apple Music about a year ago and completely fell in love with every song she’s ever written. Her voice is electrifying. Tonight was one for the books”.
Nic Ashley (@NicAshleyMusic): “@iamlp you we’re so inspiring last night! Thank you for coming to SF and sharing your stories with us. My fiancé and I have been listening since we heard “Wasted” on South of Nowhere. ??❤️”. She then added on Instagram: “I was so enthralled by @iamlpofficial last night that I didn’t take too many vids or pics but I did snap the setlist before she went on. LP’s stage presence and songs spoke to me so powerfully and inspired me to take my craft more seriously as a songwriter. Thank you for an incredible night!”.
Nic also did a shout-out to Noah: “Also it was an incredible surprise to hear @noahkahanmusic open because my roommate turned me on to his music and his songs are gorgeous and full of heart. ❤️”. Mateo (@mateow): “LP put on an incredible show at The Independent last night”. @iheartmoosiq: “@iamlp, one of the most extraordinary voices RN”. Briana (@_briana_d): “She was more amazing than I could imagine ❤️”.
Also, there were professional photographers at the gig, so photo-galleries should be up in the near future. At the moment I couldn’t locate any reviews with pics, only few shots shared via Insta, but sadly I cannot use those. PS. Ken, happy I reminded you about this tour, because you could do something with this knowledge! Enjoy LP’s music for me & you, do have fun!!

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
