Today LP is doing her final promo set at radio, she and JD will head home afterwards. However LP’s big European tour is coming very fast, only a month away. Some European countries (like Poland) are still waiting on the info (like when & where).
Anyway, back to the USA, LP did a set at The Leon Loft. Portion of her set (Other People, Lost on You & Muddy Waters) has been aired via ann arbor’s 107one radio. Sadly after those songs, stream ended, though LP continued with her performance. UPDATE: Professional video of LP’s set will be up in few weeks. UPDATE 2: Leon Speakers provided live feed of LP’s set, you can view it here.
During the interview LP confirmed that her new record will be released in the USA on May 5th, and her EP is available to buy. To set the confusion straight, LP’s EP & new record were released already but ONLY in the continental Europe & Canada. So this new record, won’t be so new to us, however I think it will ‘contain’ her songs from EP, as well as new songs that didn’t make to the European record, but were performed by LP during her tour last year. I’m thinking of Switchblade, Old Days and Dead Town. Title of the European record was ‘Lost on You’, the USA one hasn’t been released yet.
Also, new interview with LP is up online. During her promo visit in London (a week ago or so) LP was interviewed for the Newsweek. Again, interesting questions & straightforward answers from LP. She is not the one to beat around the bush: “I look on the outside how I feel on the inside,” says LP. “I definitely had to fight for my [identity]. People were like, ‘What the fuck are you supposed to be?’ back in the day. I’m supposed to be nothing you’ve seen, or nothing you can control.” For full interview click here. Worth reading!
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
