Round up of the latest info. Very recently LP was with a visit to Geneva in Switzerland. She arrived on the 16th January, and was accompanied by Zsuzsa, her Business Manager at Rebel One, LP’s music management company. On the next day (17th January) LP made an appearance at SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie Genève), the foremost event in Fine Watchmaking. SIHH is open to professional visitors and now to general public as well (there is an open day).
LP was invited to SIHH by Girard-Perregaux, high-end Swiss watch manufacture with its origins dating back to 1791. Girard-Perregaux relies on being a manufacturer of movements and watches and a manufacturer of cases and bands. LP first wore a watch by Girard-Perregaux (in Laureato style) in her ‘Tightrope’ music video & then privately as well. This visit was organized to announce that the watchmaking brand and LP started collaboration.
At the moment, details of how this collaboration will look like are unknown, but both Girard-Perregaux team & LP are very excited for this opportunity and have many ideas. To mark this announcement there was a short performance by LP (made from Girard-Perregaux booth) with a follow up interview. LP was interviewed by CEO of Girard-Perregaux, Mr Antonio Calce, who emphasized during the interview: “This is much more than a ‘product placement’, we are really looking forward to cultivating this authentic relationship with LP”.

Next day LP spent with Steve Hargrave – English broadcast journalist, TV presenter, writer and filmmaker known for his unique celebrity interviews and red-carpet reports. He is featured in Girard-Perregaux video as a presenter from 2018 SIHH event. I believe this was organized to make some promo interview as well as photo-shoot. However not much has been shared. LP was photographed by Patrice Schreyer, he also photographed her during her performance st SIHH a day earlier. For pictures, click here.
Also on the 17th January in Milan, Italy, there was a very important event. Rockol (Italian online music website) announced its winners of Rockol Awards. Our LP (along with Ed Sheeran & Depeche Mode) was nominated in the category ‘Best International Album’ for her ‘Lost On You’ record and she won!! Huge, huge congrats LP! We couldn’t be more proud! Her award was accepted by Dario Raimondi Cominesi (of her Italian label). She couldn’t be in Milan, so LP pre-recorded a very sweet message that was streamed on the night of the event. You can view it by clicking here, for video of an award ceremony in LP’s category please click here.
That’s all for now. I think LP is on her way home. She will start her North American tour in 3 weeks on the 9th February in Sacramento, CA. If anything new will pop out blog will be updated. Please also check my Twitter & Facebook for regular updates on all things LP.
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
