Yesterday (2nd September) LP was in Nashville for Live on the Green Music Festival in Public Square Park. Live On The Green is produced and presented by the local radio station Lightning 100, as a free outdoor music festival. Since its inception in 2009, more than 300,000 fans from 29 states and 10 countries have attended the festival. LP attended Live for The Green for the first time in 2014, when she was promoting ‘Forever For Now’. You can still find few videos from that year. But let’s get back to 2017 and first, let’s start with an interview that LP did yesterday for Lightning 100.
It turns out, that LP is leaving for Europe already today, first she is heading to Paris to do a video to ‘No Witness’! Excited?? I know I am. Interview was conducted via Instagram live, I have managed to save it, and you can watch it on my youtube, here. Then LP took the main stage from 6.30 to 7.30. Here’s what Beth wrote about Hudson, one of the youngest LP fans and you should remember him, as LP did a shout out to him earlier this year in a video and last night as well. @bethfromm: “And of course he got to meet his favorite singer of all time, @iamlpofficial! I mean he’s five, but his taste is pretty darn impeccable. She’s at the very top with the likes of @rufuswainwright and @lanadelrey. Pretty eclectic and dope there, little buddy. Putting him to bed just now, he said (with tears coming down his face) “But I didn’t sing for LP or tell her she’s my BFF!” #paralizedbygreatness #lol #sweetboy”. Aww, poor Hudson, but I do feel him!! I do feel him so much. Me – a grown person has been paralized in LP’s presence, so can you imagine her impact on a little child?!… But I’m sure he’ll got to witness her in the future. It’s just a start!

I haven’t seen a proper gallery of official pictures yet from the festival, but if something pops up, I will update this post. Now, what’s next for LP, first Paris and shooting video. Then Russia, Italy & Germany. In interview LP mentions that after return she will work on some new stuff for her record, then a US promo tour (around October I guess). Then UK in November/December and she will finish with several concerts in Russia & Ukraine.
