Another quick post as very little was shared, sorry. Last night LP and the band performed at Festival de la Paille, that is taking part annualy since 2000 in Métabief in eastern France. Métabief is known for its winter sports, but it is also a center for tourism in the summer with hiking, mountain biking, hang gliding, mountain climbing, and spelunking (that one I had to check, there is a very similar Polish word that means something totally else!).
Anyway, prior to the concert LP was interviewed for France Bleu, for this very short interview click here. LP talks about the tour and some of the stunning places she has visited during it. In the article accompanying this interview you will also find a tiny additional remark from LP: “I’ve given a few concerts where I think, yes recently in the Czech Republic, I have played in front of 40 000 or 50 000 people and it was interesting,” says the singer.
“I have the feeling of being comfortable on stage, no matter how many people are in front of me … I try to play every night in the same way… whether in front of 500, 5 000 or 50 000 fans, if it’s like a huge crowd, I feel like I can not touch them, you even wonder if they hear you in the background. I’m pretty small, so if I was there behind them, I would see nothing, I’d just say, “Yeah, that’s good.” Also according to this article in Métabief, it was a rather “small” concert for LP as this festival has brought together 24,000 festival-goers last year. I would also like to quote one fan of LP, who wrote after the concert something that I identify with very much so. I had to use google translator, so it’s not perfect, but you will get the gist. Lucie @oggylejlp: OK… Well, I can say that it was the most beautiful concert I could experience in my little life! As LP’s friend would say: “A little girl with a big voice”. I experienced something special and moving. This woman is not a simple artist, she is actually talented and has her heart on her hand!”.
“LP is also very close to her audience, I could sang lyrics looking straight into her eyes and she also showed a heart with her hands from the scene. Moreover I could also gave her my drawings, I entrusted them to the guitarist! It’s incredible! I could not restrain my tears when I saw this magnificent woman come near to the stage! Unique emotions! She dances, whistles, sings like no one else, shares love… LP knows that without her fans she would not be what she is today, so she keeps a special relationship with us and makes us dream every day! This complicity with us is unique!
I love U Laura <3 <3 She is an inspiration in my everyday life”.

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
