Still trying to adjust to regular life after all those emotions from Saturday evening. One thing that keeps me sane is that I will be seeing her again in London. 4 more days to go. Continuing her summer tour, LP was already in Germany on Sunday where she played at the Hurricane Festival. Hurricane, is a music festival that takes place in Scheeßel near Bremen. The festival and its guests are generally associated with the alternative part of mainstream music, although the festival has been becoming more and more mainstream over the years.

The Southside Festival (which LP played on the 23rd), often referred to as the “sister” of Hurricane, takes place on the same three days in the very south of Germany (contrary to Hurricane, which is in the north). Together they are a twin festival, since they are on the same days and usually have the same lineup with only few exceptions. From what I was able to learn LP’s show was quite early on in a smaller tent not on a main stage. Despite looking like mad, I wasn’t able to find a picture I could use on my blog. Here‘s link to JMSPhoto who photographed the event and LP.

In other news, there are few new video-interviews with LP, first two ones were recorded in Canada, LP talks about featuring in Orange is the New Black (here) and her approach to personal identity (here). Great & funny video about 5 things you should know about LP for Billboard is here. You will find there also an article with stunning portraits of our favourite singer. Here‘s incredibly personal interview for The New Nine. It was amazing to read, thanks LP for sharing all this with us.
Finally, huge thank you LP for your words after your concet in Oświęcim. You finally broke the spell & stigma of that place for me, and I will be forever grateful for that.

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
