Yesterday (20th April) LP played her concert at Huxleys in Germany. Prior to the concert she was welcomed by her fans from Poland (LP Poland & Total Freedom LP Fans), Germany (LP Germany) and Italy (LP Gang), who shared this picture with very fitting description since the concert took place in Berlin: “This is the only wall we wanna see, a wall made of people in the name of LP’s music“.
During the concert fans from different countries were shouting who loves her more, so LP laughed and asked if this was some kind of a challenge. Another funny moment was when LP got a fluffy toy (pictured above) for her dog and she joked that’s the size Orson likes to hump 🙂 She described her pet as a very tasteful man. Also I found this very lovely quote after LP’s concert written by Polish fan @nikolathecuddler: For whatever reason, even though this was only the second time I saw you perform, it felt like I’ve already been to hundreds of your shows. You never fail to amaze the crowd and make everyone do heart eyes looking at you. As you could see, the Polish fanclubs were occupying the barriers with our PLfandom hearts”.
“I guess that since you couldn’t come to us this year, we came to you 😀 [Sadly Poland didn’t got a date during ‘Smoke Em If You Got Em Tour’]. You had a very hectic day in Berlin, yet you still found a moment to sign fans’ CD booklets and other things, which we are very grateful for. (Thank you @mikesassano for being so sweet and giving it to her!!) I’m looking forward to seeing you again on the festival in Oswiecim! <3”.
Update, after taking some time to rest and absorb all the emotions, here are thoughts about the concert by my friend Anna (@Levitatoress): “I feel like calling LP a world class artist would be underrating her. She’s up there, a few levels higher from what you’ve ever seen. You’re watching her thinking ‘What? How in the world..?’ I’m blown away every time, no matter how well I know a song. She’s like a painter with a huge palette of colors on stage. She mixes them to create even more ones, uses different brushes and they are of various shapes and sizes. There is playing with shades, lighting and sharpness to create dimension. Incredible what she does with that voice…”.
“The concert in Berlin was the third time I saw her live. Each of them was special in its own way but the last gig was the best one yet. You just have to be there to fully grasp it. It was something beyond description in any language. Just magic! She made an amazing connection with the audience, was very present, gave her everything to us and certainly was not thinking about the laundry 😀 What a beautiful energy exchange was in the air! I absolutely loved it and I want more”. Thank you Ania!
Also today at Berlin Live Arte Concert (at 00.25) there will be a live concert with LP. I think it will be different than the one which aired in 2016. However those who missed last year’s LP’s Arte Concert can re-watch in now online, by clicking here. Also make sure to check new #BringYourStrange video on LP’s channel.
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
