Here’s recap of past few days, during quick break in ‘Smoke Em If You Got Em Tour’. On the 6th April, while still in Switzerland, LP and her band made a visit to Herzblut Burgstaller & Co. – Tattoo & Piercing Shop. First were boys, Brian & Elias – who got really big & complicated tattoo (you can see it here). Then was the time for LP.
She got a tattoo of sun on her shoulder. I was wondering if there was some special meaning behind it, or wheter she simply liked the idea, so I asked her tattoo artist, Tetkós Sanyika, who kindly answered, that she just liked the idea and wanted something to go with her ship tattoo on her chest. On the 7th of April LP and her band arrived to Morocco, ahead of their concert at Jazzablanca Festival, that will take place later today. She will play at Hippodrome Casa-Anfa in Casablanca – the largest city in Morocco and one of the most important cities in Africa. Casablanca is probably most famous because of the 1942 movie with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. I’m sure it will be a very memorable visit for LP. Also yesterday LP announced that we can already pre-order her new 2017 ‘Lost on You’ album, that will be released on the 5th of May. LP announced her news, by releasing song ‘No Witness’ as single via her YouTube channel – click here. Now to explain few things. In December 2016, LP released ‘Lost On You’ album with 10 songs, but only in continental Europe and Canada. Now, she is releasing full album in the USA & UK with 13 songs under the same title.

Comparing this album with my 2016 edition, there are few differences. First of all, I can see 4 new songs: ‘When We’re High’ (we heard a teaser of it from LP’s Insta-story), ‘Switchblade’ (that LP has been playing on her concerts, now we will finally hear also the studio version), ‘Suspicion’ (something totally new to me), and ‘Long Way To Go To Die’, also known from concerts, but now we will get a studio version. My 2016 album version also had ‘Into The Wild’ (studio version from 2015, not the ‘original’ one from 2012), that is not on this new 2017 edition.

However, there will also be ‘Lost On You’ Deluxe Edtion (to be released in Europe) with 16 songs. Here‘s link to Polish edition of Deluxe record, which contains 3 extra songs: ‘Into the wild’ (mentioned above), and 2 lives from Harvard & Stone: ‘Muddy Waters’ and ‘Lost on You’.
