Yesterday, 9th of April, LP was back in Switzerland for her second concert, this time at the Salle des fêtes de Thônex in Geneva. On a side note, if you’ll ever get a chance to see Geneva, just do it, you won’t be dissapointed. But back to LP and her concert. For now, not much has been shared, when it comes to articles, photos, interviews, but… Switzerland got a real treat! And I mean it.
I do not know the full setlist, so I’m not sure if there were any other changes, but yesterday, for the very first time LP performed her newest song, from her upcoming album (‘Lost On You’), titled “Suspicion”. I was very curious about this song, ever since I found out there will be something totally new on the record, and thankfully I didn’t have to wait long too for it.

Courtesy of Clorinda, who attended yesterday’s concert, we can listen to it, in its full glory. Click here and be amazed. I must have mentioned it before, but I will say it again, LP – for me – is possibly the only artist that each time delivers something new & unique. I never, ever skip any of her songs when listening to her albums, no matter if they are the oldest ones or the newest.
When I heard ‘Suspicion’ for the very first time, I was in chills and tears, it was on repeat over and over again. And I know I wasn’t the only one. My friends from Polish LP fans community were in such an owe of LP’s singing and writing skills that they were writing almost poems in the comments to this song… This song will cut you like a switchblade, and you will want it to never end.
I was asked to try and write down the lyrics to it… I have given it a go… While first part was somehow easy (I am not sure on the beginning), the rest of the song is unclear to me, so I am only posting lyrics that I’m mostly sure of. If anyone can help with the rest, please let me know. If not, then only few more weeks to the release of LP’s latest record and we will know for sure. Who is counting days?! I know, I am.
Come back do/to the chasing
choose your words,
and make it clear to me.
You seem so heaven sent, but,
somehow I still invent the fear in me.
A lie is just a lie,
A cry is still a cry,
When past becomes the crime in my mind….
Suspicion, suspicion, unchanged my heart
Suspicion, suspicion, unchain my heart
Oh crippled, cruel emotion, enough to make a notion to the … ???
I’m not posting anything else, as I am not sure, and we will have something to look for. And now few tiny quotes after yesterday’s concert. Anna Maria Zecca, who shared few pics and a video (including meet & greet with the fans, here) writes; “Drums, bass, and electric guitar, no stage effects one talent puro??????????❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”.
Annick writes: “U took my heart tonight in Geneva. No suspicion ? about that I’m saying the truth TX for “long way to go to die” I was so happy to hear it ?❤️ And many many thanks for your kindness with us after the show and for letting me to put a kiss on your cheek !! Unbelievable Unforgettable”.
Angela writes: “You are really a wonderful person. Thank you for your patience your kindness and your big smiles. We love you!”. Yes, LP has patience with her fans like no one else!
In other news, prior to the concert, LP was interviewed by Fabien Brizard for Yes FM Geneve, this interview will be up on Wednesday. Also, I wanted to give you this link to 2 videos from Jazzablanca, sadly I do not understand much of it, as translator talks over LP’s voice.
More from Casablanca and Jazzablanca, Welovebuzz posted two videos, 1st one, speedy & funny! round of questions with LP, you can view it
here. And 2nd one with recap of Jazzablanca Day 1, with great footage of LP. Click
here. Finally, few more pics can be found
here. That’s all for now, see you tomorrow!

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
