Another day has gone by – LP is preparing for her next concert in Prague, so here’s recap of what happened yesterday, on the 27th March. As you all know LP landed in Prague on Monday in the morning, she will stay there till tomorrow (I believe) as today is her second & last concert at the Roxy club. Roxy, located near the Old Town, started as a cinema in 1927 but in 1992 the venue was changed into the club.

The setlist has been the same as in Stockholm, perhaps it will be changed a bit for today. So I won’t be listing all the songs, as you can simply check my previous post, or click here for a pic of yesterday’s setlist. Today I will concentrate more on the feelings between the crowd and LP. I mentioned it before, but I will say it again, I think LP is one of the most positive people I have ever seen.
She has such incredible energy & charisma, that you simply cannot be emotionless when you are in her presence. She just glows happiness around her fans and has patience like no one else. Because when meeting her people react all kinds of different ways… I remember I was speechless, I couldn’t put a single sentence, it was all such a blur, but she made this moment unforgettable.
Also, sadly, I haven’t been to any of her concerts, (yet!), as I have discovered her after the winter tour has finished, so this is still ahead of me, but during the meeting in Warsaw she did sung a little bit of ‘Other People’ being accompanied only by her ukulele. And I was in such an owe of her voice and ‘stage’ presence. She is simply even better live, without any special preparing, mics, sound effects – it was ‘just’ her, her voice and the sound of her ukulele. And it was incredible.
Here, I found someone expressing the very same emotions after yesterday’s concert. Marija writes: “Such an amazing voice, talent, artist! Such an amazing woman! Her energy and charizma left me speachless. This is the only singer I’ve heard so far, who sounds completly the same in live and on the records. Thank you for the wonderfull eve!”
And it’s something I hear over and over again, everyone who listens to LP live is left almost speechless and in owe of her incredible singing skills and stage charisma. She wins her crowd each and every time, and I do hope to experience this soon. Really soon.
