Quick entry about the Voice of Poland. I’ve learnt about it on Friday and was pretty sure there won’t be passes or that I won’t arrive to Warsaw on time. Somehow it all worked out. I wanted to thank my friends, who have made it all possible. We were told it is ‘top secret’ and that we should keep those news very private. I kept is so private that even my family was unaware of where I was going. Anyway. This programme is not something I watch, my sister is a much bigger fan, she’s there tonight at the finale, lol. I didn’t know what to expect, didn’t know the contestants, all I wanted was to survive 🙂 We took our standing positions shortly before 18.00. We waited till 19.00 when some recordings were about to start.

Now, when it comes to LP’s performance, it was totally out of the blue. How, you might ask? Well, it was pretty dark at that time, there was no lights, no announcement, nothing. My radar however was working, I noticed LP as soon as she put first steps on the stage. I even screamed “LP”, but she looked at me, and sort of made me feel, that I shouldn’t scream. Like she was there incognito 🙂 No idea if I imagined it or not. So I went mute. My friends didn’t even realize what happened. LP went to the top of the stage, quite far from our places, and much closer to the judges.
She stood in total silence, no one knew what was going on. Then the music started, LP sang “Girls Go Wild” and just like that, afterwards she left the stage. And that was it… Some people realized it was LP during her performance, but most of them didn’t even know what hit them. We were quite surprised ourselves. However during her performance we enjoyed ourselves as much as we could and to my amazement camera caught us for a little bit during live feed.
Anyway, once recording of the programme starts, and you are in the audience, you cannot leave, you have to stand at all times, and clap and wave all the time. I must say it was pretty tiresome. Especially that you’re on your feet from 7pm till 10.30 pm. And afterwards, your hands pretty much hurt from all the clapping and waving. It’s not something I will want to experience again, soon. I wonder if my sister will have similar opinion or perhaps she will truly enjoy being there. You can re-watch full programme by clicking here. For video of LP’s performance click here. I’ve uploaded it to YouTube as I know original video is blocked outside Poland.
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
