After few days of rest, on the 18th of March, LP has given a concert at Cosmos Concert Hall in Yekaterinburg. It was a special concert, both for LP and her fans. Today our LP celebrates her birthday! She is far from home & loved ones, in a foreign country, but the love and warmth is always there for her, no matter of the place or temperature outside. LP was flooded with gifts, beautiful wishes and messages from her friends and worldwide fans. So I would like to add a little bit from myself to those too.

Happy Birthday to this incredible force of nature, otherwise known as LP! Two letters that mean so much to many of us and that changed many peoples’ lives. I hope we will get to listen to your stunning voice, beautiful music & meaningful lyrics for years to come. I wish you all what’s best not just today, but always. Lots of love, interesting people and inspiration for your work. You are loved LP ❤ Have fun tonight.
“Where words fail, music speaks” – H.Ch. Andersen. So best just listen to LP, while I will try to provide somewhat coverage of today’s concert. But before I will move on to that, first tiny announcement. My blog, in hopefully not so distant future, will have a new, cooler home, under new cool address. You may have noticed few changes already & there are still few more to come. I wanted to say, that I wouldn’t even dare to think of changes if not the support of a wonderful friend & a fellow LP fan. So thank you for that!
And now, back to the concert. Cosmos Concert Hall was not the biggest venue LP has ever performed, as it has capacity of 996 and it was a seated concert. But there was definitely good energy, almost electric. I really like how one of the concert-goers described what happened. @i_khenna: “Oh, god, it was incredible, unforgettable, absolutely enchanting and exciting! Instead of any words and definitions, you can just yell AAAAA from emotions.”
“To have so much voice and energy is completely incomprehensible, but our large Cosmos Concert Hall was unexpectedly too small. She really needs the whole COSMOS and she will easily fill it by herself. Thanks, LP, and happy birthday!” So, so true. It’s not the first time I’ve read such words, heard such description, not to mention that I’ve had a pleasure of experiencing LP’s phenomenon live and it truly is incomprehensible and indescribable.
Few of my firends travelled all the way from Poland, and I am sure they’ve had an amazing time. Waiting to hear back from them, hope they haven’t frozen somewhere near that lake. I was also very happy to see Anna of Russian fanclub with LP. She and her partner went to every concert during UK tour, and trust me, it takes stamina, and in Russia she will be at four of 9 concerts, it is a lot trickier there due to the distance and weather.
Our LP was like a ball of energy. There was this great moment during ‘Lost On You’, when she unexpectedly went into the crowd, almost everyone jumped off their seats just to be near her. After all, she needs to train that security team from time to time! But everything went well, LP was happy and people as well. After the concert ended, quite large group of fans gathered outside LP’s window, so she greeted them and recorded funny insta-story. I have started my post and will end my today’s post with beautiful picture by one of the most talented photographers out there. She ‘gets’ LP every time she points her camera at her, the one & only Veronica Tedderson. Veronica, in LP’s name, her fans, and fans of your photography, thank you!

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
