So today, on the 15th March, LP officially started her Russian Tour. She arrived few days earlier, most likely to get rid off the jetlag and get used to this new, really cold climate. Before her first concert of this tour there was some press conference, you can see some snippets of it on @muzgorod Insta-story. I don’t think there will be a video-interview, but press will print some articles in the next few days. If I will learn something new, I will surely let you know.

First concert took place at Grand Hall Siberia in Krasnoyarsk, capacity 1716. it was mostly seated concert, but there were some standing places as well. LP very much surprised her Russian hosts and everyone else who ‘follows’ her. She started her tour and her first concert with a song under Russian title ‘Na Zdorovie’. My Russian was great in primary school, now I do not remeber a single thing. This however was easy, as in Polish we say ‘Na zdrowie’ and it means the same, ‘cheers’!
So ‘Cheers!’ to Russia from LP. This song is up on Youtube courtesy of live recording via Instagram, you can listen to it by clicking here. I won’t be decoding lyrics just yet. Let it sink in for a couple of days. As for the rest of the setlist, you will find it on my twitter at @iamlp_blog, picture courtesy of Alina (@al.wave). Setlist is very similar to the one from US tour with few changes. Also, I’m afraid that some of those posts won’t be as detailed as those during LP’s USA tour, due to the language. But I will try my best.

I have found a couple of quotes that I liked and I will start with this one by Alina (@al.wave): “@iamlpofficial thank you for the amazing show in Krasnoyarsk!? hope to see you soon! What a great start of the Russian tour! Lots of love xx.” Polina (@alinapolkhovik): “Dear Laura, thank you for an amazing show in Krasnoyarsk??????that was awesome???? unfortunately we haven’t met in Sochi this summer but we met here, still can’t believe it that such a star came to Siberia ???love you ??❤.”

@rikhter_17: “It was very cool and atmospheric concert. We got great emotions and great pleasure ? Thank you very much, @iamlpofficial ❤❤ I love you❤.” Alexandra (@nsp2007): “the most spectacular woman of my today. Thank you @iamlpofficial for such an inspirational experience of listening to you live. so much in love with your music, lyrics and drive. you’re incomparable ❤.” Tanya (@_rainbow_closer_): “Laura, your songs take my breath away. Thank you for your visit in cold Siberia and for wonderful time. I love you, LP!”
And from those who will be at four concerts of this tour, Anna & Ana of @lp.russia.official: “The first concert in Krasnoyarsk took place! Such a storm of emotions! Thank you, LP, for everything! Ah, those trills! LP was teasing the audience, coming to the very edge of the staircase or sitting down on it and carelessly dangling the legs, and it seemed as if she would come down into the hall in an instant! She descended from the stage 2 times: during Tokyo Sunrise, when the guards allowed the crowd to jump from their seats and surround her… and traditionally during “Someday”.

“Brian is not on this tour, and his place was taken by a keyboard player from the North American tour [Dan B.]. Since the places at the concert hall were mostly seated, there were a lot of flowers! Gifts too. There were problems with the bass and the microphone… and it was a little bit noticeable in LP’s voice that she still has not recovered. Bright light and distance didn’t allow to make good photos, but still here are a few. Thank you for your warm embraces! Welcome to Russia, LP!”
And one more that I also translated, it was the single quote I decided to check and it turned out to be perfect. Mary (@mary_mosyagina): “?First LP Tour in Russia? A woman who does not fit into the framework of modern standards of beauty, all of which she contradicts the paradigms of femininity, does not possess the figure of Kardashian and does not seek to mold out the totality of these very standards. She takes your soul not only with an incredible, piercing voice, but also with her amazing charisma. You want to reach out to her. I want to watch her, she wants to listen. It’s magical. LP, I admire you! ?.”

And this quote ends today’s post. And as I was finishing my post I found interview from today, and it indeed is in writing. You will find it here along with cool new pictures of LP. One more interview can be found here. Both in Russian. And beautiful gallery of pictures from today is here. Next 2 days will be free from the shows, we will see LP again on Sunday, on her birthday!!! Post updated with more pictures, with kind thank you to photographers, for allowing me to use their incredible photos!

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
