From New York – in epic storm – LP and the band, and some crazy fans travelled to Boston for another sold out show, this one at the Royale Nightclub. Venue is stunning, since it’s a former opera house that was built in 1918. Capacity is 1000 and despite horrible weather the room was full! Today’s coverage is courtesy of Christine (@zoemacdog), who was one of those lucky people to be at the Royale and listen to LP and feel her incredible energy.
Christine: “Still coming down from the high of seeing LP last night! I’ve been trying to think of something to say that hasn’t already been said about her. I decided the English language needs to come up with a whole new level of superlatives, just for LP! ? Most people think the epic storm that came through Boston yesterday was winter storm Riley, but those of us inside the Royale know better.”
“The true force of nature was on stage, weaving her magic with a voice I believe the angels must envy. Although my wish for LP is for her to conquer the world, I feel so lucky to be able to see her in small venues. Between the intimacy of her songs and the intimacy of the club, it was akin to spending an evening with friends, rocking out. She was playful, sexy, and utter perfection. In short, she was LP!”
“I also want to thank you so much, Anna all of your hard work on your blog. It just blows me away how consistent and thorough your coverage of LP is. It’s obvious it’s a labor of love, ❤️ and I was so thrilled for you to be able to meet and speak to LP like you did. There was no one who deserved it more. Thank you again, and I hope you get to see LP many, many times over the summer. And, of course, we’re all looking forward to her new album! That’s double good news, because it also means she’ll be back out in support of that and we’ll get to see her again. ”
Christine, you make me blush! Thank you so much, it brings me enourmous joy when people read what I write and can use it somehow and be up-to-date. That’s what I’ve wanted to do in a first place. So thank you again! And now, for my favourites quotes, not too many but special. Rebekah (@bekah_indo): “Nor’easter gave it his best shot, but no way would we miss the fabulous LP. We waited for months for this! Keep watching til after 1:00 for the high notes ? ?.”
Jen (@jenvesp): “Finally finally finally saw LP tonight and she was even better than expected.” Jen is a photographer so recommed checking her profile for some cool shots. Cheyenne (@cheysherona): “I saw the amazing @iamlpofficial again but this time in Boston, MA at the Royale Theatre in Boston. Such an incredible show with a friend I haven’t seen in a long time. Thanks again, LP for helping me transcend!” Alyssa (@alyssamews): “Please excuse these concert vids but she is a fucking icon.”

Brittany (@royalewithchze): “Boston, you never disappoint. @katcunning is officially repeating on my #spotify, @iamlpofficial is filing a restraining order against me, and #slampiece loves me enough to watch me #fangirl. ? #stilldead.”
Kimberly (@kcorbett1970): “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” ― Plato Taryn. (@tstrac): “@iamlpofficial One of the greatest live performers there is. Thanks @josiahandthe for showing me the way. Fan for life.” Lisa (@lisa_espinoza): ‘“LP”…..vocalist spectacular….I have no other words….’ Alicia (@alicia.clinton): “‘LP is really good live!! Like her better live! LOL!!” Tonight LP will perform sold out show at Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia.

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
