Today a rather quick entry. On 10th of July LP and Lauren with the band enjoyed free-from-the-show day at Lucca, city in Tuscany. It is the capital of the Province of Lucca. It is famous for its intact Renaissance-era city walls. They all had the time to do a little sightseeing as evident in their insta-stories. They got to see The Torre (tower) Guinigi – this tower is one of the few remaining within the city walls. Its main characteristic is its garden in the sky on the roof of the tower.
The ancient trees surrounding it are Holm Oaks symbolising rebirth and renewal. The tower dates from the 1300s when a number of wealthy families were building bell towers within the walls of Lucca as status symbols. From the tower LP, Lauren and the gang could admire skyline of the city of Lucca. On the next day July 11th, LP performed at Piazza Napoleone. She took part in Lucca Summer Festival, she was the main artist on that day, right after Rug’n Bone Man (who has a killer voice & great songs!).
Sorry, but I wasn’t able to find any quotes, and LP Italia is really busy preparing for LP’s next concerts in Italy, so I do not have much to add, other than it was an amazing day for Italian fans, LP was in her element and enjoyed every minute of the show. Also Domenica, who kindly let me used few of her pictures in my post wrote “LP it’s not only an amazing voice but she gas the ability to touch your soul with her lyrics and music. She was very captivating, a gret performer ?”.
During Tightrope, LP received a giant ring for Lauren (for video click here), Italian fanclub wanted to mark with this ring an engagement, that took place on the 7th of July. LP has handed the ring to Lauren right before singing ‘Forever for Now’, I have found video of that moment, click here. And from different angle, few cute videos, here. There was also an interview with LP prior to the show, but it hasn’t been uploaded online yet, if it will be done I will update this post. The whole concert was streamed live, and I had a help from Grisù, who translated narrative from the radio during the concert.

After Grisù, LP told people: “you are so beautiful”. The night was very hot, so LP has taken her jacket during her performance and took all the gifts that were handed to her, including T-shirt. They also said that she was very focused when singing, sometimes with her eyes closed. And that people of all ages were singing her songs. They also said, that the drummer is massaging LP!
During one of the songs, beacuse of low trousers, LP’s microphone box dropped, you could see at Insta-story Darren hiding behind LP with that box in his hand. They also spoken about the success of ‘Lost on you’. After that song, they also said that LP sang an incredible version of that song, they mentioned that it’s hard to do it better, but she can. LP also performed an acoustic version of ‘Forever for Now’, with applause from the audience, and this happens only if one is very good. LP ended her concert by saying “grazie mille a tutti” – “thank you very much to everyone”.
