Yesterday (28th May) LP & Lauren arrived to Washington, DC – capital of the United States. They both performed at U Street Music Hall, and it’s not the first time they stood on that stage. Last year in July, when LP was touring with Bryan Ferry, she also had few separate gigs, including U Street, where (judging from the setlist) she sung ‘Dreams’ with special guest, she meant Lauren.
Yesterday Lauren was one of the opening acts, next to Josiah and The Bonnevilles. Lauren Ruth Ward was right after Josiah, and unlike to Europe she is now on her mini-tour of her own with full band, including two guitarists: Eduardo Rivera & Liv Slingerland, and drummer: India Pascucci. Her band is being accompanied by Tess O’Connor, who is capturing their tour on pics. I must say I’m very fond of Lauren’s style and music as well and ‘Did I offend you’ is my favourite song of hers at the moment.
I’m not sure how long Lauren’s set was and wheter there was a duet yesterday as well, as very little was shared. I’m afraid today’s post will be rather short as I couldn’t find many comments, there are nice pics & videos of LP, but very little words. Let’s start with Johanna (@pbandjo7): “This was without a doubt the best concert I’ve seen in my life. Thanks @iamlpofficial for a surreal experience!”.

Rachel (@rkclements_), who also shared great ‘fan’ snap with LP wrote: “sorry for screaming in your face @iamlpofficial but also kinda not”.
Delaney (@laneytheg): “//Wherever you go, far as Tokyo, I can say I’ll see you again// #LP
#ComeBackPlease. It’s so amazing to see LGBT artists who are out and creating such awesome work ❤❤”. And one more quote, this time from Twitter, Alison (@Pink_Conspiracy) wrote: “@iamlp your show last night was PHENOMENAL, I’ve seen a lot of singers/bands and you by far have the best voice ever. Loveeee ?❤️”.

And I think my favourite video from last night is LP singing ‘Lost On You’ with her fans, with the most beautiful smile. It’s absolutely wonderful, that this sad song, that came from a really bad period of her life, now brought her so much happiness. She totally deserves it and it makes me warm at heart. LP keep on smilin’!

And at the very end the happy couple! I adore this pic.
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
