We are officialy in the middle of US tour. Second half will be a bit busier, more festivals are added in between the concerts. Today is free-from-the-show day, tomorrow LP plays at Pepsi Summer Kickoff, however yesterday (24th May) she performed at the Visulite Theater in Charlotte (North Carolina).
Again it was a very intimate setting for the concert, and a very beautiful place I must add. According to BluManRay, one of LP’s oldest (not in age) and most faithful fans, LP was in great form, the stage was tiny, but, she made the most of it. LP was also in a really good mood, so there was lots of banter with the crowd. And I am very happy to hear that! I hope you had an incredible time!
Visulite Theater provided a live feed for about 8 minutes and you can still watch it on their official Facebook page, here. You will also find videos of ‘Muddy Waters’, ‘Tightrope’, ‘Other People’, ‘Switchblade’ & ‘Tokyo Sunrise’ on youtube, click here. Sound quality isn’t perfect but at least we can get a taste of what it was like in Charlotte.
The crowd really loved LP and gave her praising reviews. Let’s start with Matthew (@tshmatthew): “LP puts on one hell of a show. I’m still not sure how all of those sounds come out of one tiny lady”. Krystle (@kmhornsby): “@iamlpofficial you are a special talent that we were so very lucky to see tonight! Your show was unbelievable! Thank you!!!!”. Robbie (@robbiecdl): “LP was simply mesmerizing last night, I’m so glad I got to see her!”.
@cltcanjam: “What a great show last night by @iamlpofficial ! She sounds just as good as she does on her records”. Sara (@sarakerstetter), who was also on LP’s concert in Atlanta wrote: “@iamlpofficial You just made my night. Hell, my week. My month! I’m kinda freaking. You don’t know what it meant to me for you to speak to me from the stage and to come out to give me a hug! I love you and I am so proud of you! Best of luck on the rest of the tour! #LPcallsmeSarawithnoH”.
Sara also added that from stage in between songs, LP actually apologized for not getting to meet up with her fans in Atlanta! “She [LP] said she came out to say hi & we were gone!!”. When Sara was asked if she had that on video she wrote: “I don’t. It just happened! I totally wasn’t expecting it! I have looked on Instagram at other videos, but I haven’t found one of her talking to me. I was completely stunned! I was debating on telling you. But, I figured it was better to know that she did come out and we just missed her instead of thinking she ignored us knowing we were out there! She genuinely seemed sorry”. Sara also wrote: “I think she truly cares about her fans! She’s such a kind person! ❤️”.

I also wanted to give a tiny shout-out to LP’s opening act in person of Josiah and the Bonnevilles. He performs solo, it’s mostly him and his guitar and harmonica but he puts on a great show. For a taste of his live music, click here. After Derek (@derek__baker): “Stop what you are doing right now and go check out @josiahandthe, this man knows how to preform and has got a soulful voice that will rock your world”. PS. Go to Josiah Insta-story and you will see that LP’s drummer, Elias, is not only great with drums, but he plays a piano and sings very well! What a talented band!

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
