So here’s quick update on what was going on yesterday, 20th May. During her US tour, LP popped to Hangout Music Festival – an annual three-day music festival held at the public beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. It was founded by A.J. Niland and Shaul Zislin in 2010, and is produced by Huka Entertainment. The main stages are the Hangout Stage and the Chevrolet Stage (located on opposite ends of the beach), as well as the Boom Boom Tent and more.
LP shared quite a few Insta-stories so I recommend checking her account, especially the one with wet hair 🙂 First, LP performed an acoustic set for Subway. She played ‘Up Against Me’, ‘Death Valley’, ‘Other People’ and finished with ‘Lost On You’. There was a live feed via Periscope but sadly it is no longer available. However the visual quality was really rubbish, though sound was quite nice.
Next, LP & her band hung out with #HangoutRadio – The voice of Hangout Music Fest 2017 powered by 92.1 FM| 92ZEW.net. There was a short but really nice interview as well as acoustic performance of ‘When We’re High’ – love how Elias diggs this song and ‘Lost On You’. Thankfully this you can still watch via youtube. Just click here. There are few funny bits, LP intoducing Elias as the one with cohones and then making fun of european accent, loved it!
Finally LP performed full set (I think it was an hour long) on the Mermaid Stage (as LP said herself, very aquatic). Not sure how many songs she played but surely there was time for her biggest hits. There are quite a few pics of LP and her fans as well as some short clips floating around on Instagram. I think it felf a bit like Europe for her, with so many fans coming to her, taking selfies etc. She even recorded a video for her fan who couldn’t be at the festival, she was asked for a photo but she suggested video herself – that’s how great she is & you can watch it here.

I almost forgot there will be another interview, for #power961 and @iheartradio which LP did with her friend @moran_tha_man. For now tiny blooper of the interview can be found here. Her day ended with 21 Pilots’ concert that was cut short due to heavy rain, hence LP’s wet hair! I think it was a fun day, and while still busy it has given her a nice break from her tour.
Let me end this post with a fan pic and a quote by @krys.tyn: “Attending this shit alone has been the best fucking thing… so much fucking freedom. Thank you @iamlpofficial for sharing your incredible art… for being so freakishly RAD wow just so spectacular. I can’t figure out how to whistle but YOU.. you sure did. .that and so much more. Beautiful. W o w t h a n k s”.

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
