I will try to catch up with LP, as after the tour and a really short stop at home, she went to New York for more promo as her album was just released today (5th May). Actually I got mine already yesterday, but official release was today. But let’s start from the beginning. On 3rd May LP and her band was a musical guest on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon with ‘Lost on You’ performance. For video click here.

Right after the show LP took part in a private album release performance at The McKittrick Hotel. Very little was shared from that party, but I believe the setlist was similar (if not the same) to the one from release party in London. LP sung her latest songs including ‘Suspicion’ and ‘When we’re high’, and those were also a hit with US public. I recommend checking lpfansnet via Facebook & Instagram, as they were guests at that party and posted few pics and videos.
Also I noticed there were cameras around and people when posting pics on Isntagram used ‘taping’ word, SO let’s hope for some DVD/video?? I guess we shall see. OK, on the next day (4th May), in the morning LP was guest at FOX 5. There was a great interview and acoustic performance of ‘Lost On You’. Really hope for an online video, but so far there is none. Not sure if will pop up. But will be looking for it.
Then LP was guest at Build Series NYC, where she was interviewed by Joe Levy – Editor at The Village Voice and contributing editor at Rolling Stone, in short – someone with musical knowledge and it was one of the best live interviews I have seen. LP was sharp, straightforward and honest. She was sharing a lot of that went through since she started as a musician. I’m not going to quote here her best lines, as I would have to quote entire interview. So, head to the Build Series website ⇒ here, and check it yourself.

Finally, she popped to 95.5 PLJ in NYC, where she has given a private performance for the staff (so there won’t be video of that), but she was also interviewed by Ralphie Aversa. Interview will be up shortly at http://www.955plj.nyc/.
I will cover release of a record in a separate post as new things keep popping up, but here are few interviews that were released today and are deffinitely worth checking. First one for Interview Magazine, I was waiting for that for a long time, and it’s finally here. It has 3 portraits of LP in some daring clothes. As for the interview it is different from everything I have read so far and is very interesting. Check it here. Next interview is for Fault Magazine (here), and again, with LP nothing is ever boring. Really great and insughtful stuff. And 3rd one by Official Charts, where LP compares great songs to beautiful women. Click here. Next post will be up tomorrow I think, in which I will cover a release of LP’s record.
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
