print screen of LP’s insta-story Why she put her debut album now? Diane explained it in her interview for “Town & Country”:
I didn’t think of it before. It happened because of one song, which inspired this whole thing. I did a song with John Legend, and it’s maybe in the top 10 things I ever wrote in my life. He loved it and said he was going to put it on his next album. But he didn’t.

She loved Legend’s version and needed a place to put it. “I just wanted to use it as is, because it’s perfection. That was part of the inspiration. I thought, Why can’t the song be me featuring John Legend? Why can’t I work with some artists I really want? ”
That’s why this album is a collection of collaborations between Warren and some of her favorite musicians, including our very own LP. Domino was written by Diane Warren but LP lent her vocals. I must say it was a perfect way to use LP’s voice and to make her name even more known in the music world.

In her press release, Diane said about the album:
I am so excited to release this album which is like a microcosm of my career – writing songs in all kinds of genres of music for a wide range of amazing artists, many of whom I am thrilled to be working with for the first time and others with whom I’ve been delighted to work with before. I just love writing songs that reach across all genres… each song is like casting a role in a movie. But in the end, I always leave it up to the artist and how they want to do it.
So let me know, how do you like the “casting” of LP in this particular song? On me, it’s growing. I love the lyrics and how LP delivered its meaning.
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
