So, let’s start today’s coverage (and there’s a lot going on), with the most electrifying info of the day! LP’s new album titled “Heart To Mouth”, in some countries already is, in some will be (closer to midnight) available for pre-order. We know the cover art (photo taken by LP’s creative director, Darren Craig) as well as full list of songs. There will be 12 songs in total, 3 of those are familiar to us – “Girls Go Wild”, “Dreamer” & “Recovery”, and one is ‘sort of’ known to us (LP mentioned “Dreamcatcher” in my interview with her from 2017, and there’s a snippet of the song on her Instagram, click here).

As for the title of the album, since it’s not an idiom of any kind in English language, LP’s message (similarly to “Lost On You”) is more cryptic. I’ve asked Bekki from We Are LP UK, and I like her explanation – in her opinion, LP is singing what her heart is telling her, she sings what/how she feels…
UPDATE: More about the record after press release. Of the record, LP said, “When I get on the mic and start doing melodies, I can feel that direct line from my heart to my mouth. In the past, there was a city full of streets that needed my attention. Now, I feel like I have a major highway to communicate emotion from. Whether they’re sadder songs or big anthems, they all come from the same place.”
The singles [Girls Go Wild & Recovery] only represent two shades of Heart To Mouth‘s kaleidoscopic wonder. “House on Fire” hinges on show-stopping theatrical-style delivery rife with raw power, while “Die For Your Love” borders on blues and dance all at once with its tribal percussion and sweeping refrain. Meanwhile, the stirring “Special” leaves a breathless final word.
You can pre-order album via iTunes and other music online platforms (official premiere is 7th December), it should be also available via Amazon and other e-shops. As for “Recovery”, I will cover this premiere, once video (most likely to be released in the early morning hours) will be available to view. Today LP is a guest of French TV programme, Taratata & later today, she will be in a studio of Europe 1, where she will perform live “Lost on You” & “Recovery”.

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
