Yesterday, after quick visit to her LA home, LP was back on the road again. She arrived to Montreal, where she played at The Osheaga Music and Arts Festival – multi-day indie music festival that is held every summer at Parc Jean-Drapeau on Île Sainte-Hélène in Canada. Osheaga has given itself the objective of discovering local and national emerging talent offering them the opportunity to play alongside some of the biggest international artists in the business.
It wasn’t first time for LP to take part in this festival. Back in 2012, right after her success with “Into The Wild” single, LP was one of the emerging artists performing at Osheaga. Till today you will find videos of LP’s performance up on Youtube. Both in 2012 and yesterday LP was given the opportunity to play at one of the biggest stages of the festival, River stage. Yesterday LP played late in the afternoon before Blondie, Khalid and Arctic Monkeys – Saturday’s headliner.

I also have few quotes for you starting with photographer Mary (@nos_kid): “LP & Khalid – Both killed it today, but LP was so good. Her voice is everything!! Can’t wait for tomorrow 🙌🏼❤️.” Brent (@brentiminator): “Late start to day 2 but it began with an amazing performance by LP.” Marie (@mariegoestoshows): “So much talent.” Marie photographed LP for Canadian Beats – an online magazine, so there should be gallery & review in due time.
Connor (@connormacfar): “Day 2 at Osheaga. We arrived just in time to get a great spot for #LP. For those of you who don’t know, she is the behind the scenes writer for many of America’s biggest stars (#Rihanna, #christinaaguilera, etc.). As you can see in the first vid, her voice is fucking incredible. She has been the most talented individual we’ve seen so far IMO. After that set blew our minds we settled in and saw a few other artists including #khalid #blondie and #bahamas.”
Kevin (@kevin_kast): “Great set of LP.” Earl (@earl_music_movies_cats_canada): “LP – OMFG that voice!!!!” I wasn’t able to find that much about her concert yet, but there were several photographers, so there should be some online coverage soon. Also at one point LP was mixing with the crowd, there are few pics and this teeny-tiny video shared by Ana Camila (@__anaca). And prior to her concert at Outside Lands that will take place next Sunday, LP was quoted in the Riff Magazine, for article click here.
That’s all for now, and yes I remember, I still have to write about Ludwisburg… Maybe tomorrow will be that day…

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
