LP arrived to London on the 26th November, it was a free-from-the-show day, so she got to spend it with Lauren enjoying perks of hotel life. Second concert of LP’s GB Fall tour, took place last night on the 27th November at O2 Institute in Birmingham. First a little bit of trivia as the venue was stunning. Converted from a Methodist chapel built in the early 1900s, The O2 Institute is a place with a lot of history. The Institute has hosted bands such a Pink Floyd and The Cure. It has four separate rooms – the 1500 capacity main room, the 600 capacity O2 Institute2, the 300 capacity O2 Institute3, and a separate VIP area.
LP took the main stage, which was upgraded from O2 Institute2 due to demand. Again, lots of familiar faces in the crowd, including many of the friends I have met during my own travels to LP gigs. LP UK official fanclub again had the pleasure of welcoming LP to UK during their meet & greet with LP backstage prior to the concert. The door has been opened at 7 pm and the concert itself started at 9 pm local time and lasted for about an hour and a half.
LP Gang provided live feed for almost entire concert. You can still re-watch their videos (4 in total) here. The setlist remained the same as in Dublin. LP opened with ‘Strange’ and for encore were ‘Forever For Now’ & ‘Into The Wild’. In the middle of the gig there were some technical difficulties, so first LP chatted with the crowd and there was also time for receiving gifts. Then LP decided that instead of waiting she will perform acoustic version of ‘Switchblade’ with John Notto accompanying on guitar.

After the concert few (actually more than few) lucky fans saw LP leaving the venue. This time she stopped, took selfies, and given autographs. Lauren also took her time with the fans, as there was German fanclub waiting for her. That’s all for now. Tonight LP takes the stage at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. Many of my friends will be there, so do have fun!!! Great pics from last night by Nick Hynan can be found via his Twitter feed, click here. If anything else pops up, post will be updated.
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
