Ah USA, I was very worried about today’s post, as very little was shared via Instagram, and the one person I did ask, if she would like to write few words as LP fan about the concert and her experience, said: she doesn’t work for free… After this rather unpleasant encounter, I did got to meet a true LP fan (thank you Elyse!), who not only kindly shared her words with me but even few pics as well.
But let’s start from the very beginning. Yesterday, 12 May (again for Europe – technically today) LP has played her very first concert (of this tour) in USA, at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle. This place, judging from the pics and description, proved to be a very intimate setting for the concert. People could come up right to the stage with beers in hand and enjoy LP and her music in its full glory.

My heart aches for such experience, but I fear, it may be too late for that… In Europe the demand is high, and USA is catching up, fast… But let’s give the voice to the person who actually attended LP’s concert and decided to write a bit about that incredible show.
Elyse, (@emkleidon via Twitter) wrote: “So I accidentally got to the Tractor Tavern an hour early, but thank goodness for my feeble mind because by the time the doors opened the line was blocks long.
Little did I know that for a LONG time while I was waiting, LP was just a few feet away in her tour bus!”.
“Later, our favorite singer came out and tried to get in the venue via the door we were waiting by, knocked on it even, like “hi, I’m the singer” lol…which is when I was able to give her the ***NEW panties hee hee… she was so nice and hooked someone up with a ticket who was going through a really rough patch. The few of us who were there uber early were given the extra gift of hearing her twice (when she warmed up)!”.
“I’ve been an obsessed fan since I first heard her live “into the wild” clip on you tube in 2012, and have kept thinking “this is when she’ll get noticed here” over and over but NOW it has happened. People were screaming and cheering for Muddy Waters, Lost on You, Switchblade, No Witness, Tightrope, Up against me, You Want it All, Tokyo Sunrise, Levitator, Suspicion, When we’re high, Strange, Other People…”.
“It was so fantastic to see the love people gave her! I love you all in Europe so much for realizing her genius. Thank you! Elyse”. Elyse, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your words and being so kind. I’m very happy to see LP getting recognition in USA, finally, after all this time. Her talent is enormous and it should be shared with a whole world! PS. Have fun in Portland with LP tonight!! And do take notes 🙂
Also, NOT TO BE MISSED, yesterday, before leaving Canada, LP was a guest at Roundhouse Radio 98,3. She performed acoustic versions of ‘Lost On You’ and ‘When We’re High’, and she has given a fabulous interview. To listen to it, please click here. It’s one of my favourite interviews ever, she seemed very relaxed and at ease. LP, thank you for sharing so much with us and for reading my blog!! It’s an honour to be your fan! Thank you.

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
