Another recap of days 10-12 April. LP arrived to Belgium on the 10th of April. I was surprised as there was no concert in the ‘Smoke Em If You Got Em’ tour announced on that day in Belgium, but then I remembered that she was to be guest of The Voice Belgique on the next day. And she was – according to one of the judges, one of the nicest & kindest guests they every had on a show. No surprise here!

While the programme is blocked unless you live in Belgium, at Facebook you can view so called ‘Live from Connect Room’ which is a look behind the scenes of the programme. LP was guest there too and answered some of the questions from Facebook Live. Video is here. LP’s part starts at about 47 minutes. During official programme LP performed ‘Lost On You’ with two contestants and ‘Other People’ with her band. As I said, sadly those videos are blocked. On the next day (12 April) LP was already in Germany for her concert at Live Music Hall in Cologne. Before the concert she was greeted backstage by her German fanclub who handed gifts (including awesome “Orson” book) and took some pics. LP was very happy and even posted a video of meet & greet on her Instagram. Then was the time for the concert.

Courtesy of LP Germany Fanclub who was live for the entire time (and I really hope she can still feel her hand), you can view the entire! concert here. LP started with ‘Muddy Waters’ as she always does during this tour. But she had a surprise in her store. She performed for the second time during this tour, her latest song titled ‘Suspicion’. I think it will be another big hit for her if it will be released as a single or if it will get to be played on the radio.
I was wondering if addition of ‘Suspicion’ to the setlist meant that one of her older songs won’t be played, but no. She added it to the setlist as a sort of ‘surprise bonus’, which made me very happy. It was an awesome concert, that I could watch from the first to the last song without any interruption or loosing a connection, so thanks again LP Germany! I could take my ukulele and play some of the songs with LP live. Awesome feeling.
And a favourite quote after yesterday’s concert. Sabrina wrote: “thank you @iamlpofficial for this special evening, the hall was filled with love. you made my wish come true and you overwhelmed me with so many emotions. your voice is as always incredible. i think you will never stop inspire and amaze people with such a charming person. you are a beautiful human being. ??♥
And now links to few interviews & articles that were recently published. MTV UK is introducing LP with this interview, as LP will be releasing her latest album not only in USA but also in UK. I really loved LP’s answer on question: what can we expect from your live shows? LP said: “You can expect connection, vocal dexterity and power, and a lot of love!“. Truth!
When LP was in Geneva she was interviewed by radio Yes FM Geneve. You can listen to the interview on youtube. Click here. Really great interview (in Polish) with some great questions by Kasia Gawęska of Onet is here. And here‘s link to one of the best interviews with LP by Khouloud, that was conducted when LP was in Morocco. It is in French so google translator will be helpful, but I really hope I will be able to provide it in English too. It’s really worth reading.
Today LP is already in Paris with her love, Lauren and I’m sure they will both provide unforgettable experience for those at Salle Playell.
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
