After LP via her latest Instagram post:
“Over the past few months I’ve partnered with Soundwaves Art to create something special for Pride and support the amazing work done at The Trevor Project – the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ youth. We worked together to turn my song “Strange” into visual art. Check out the artwork at the link in my bio! Only a few are signed, so get yours before they’re gone! Proceeds go to supporting the Trevor Project!“
Soundwaves Art in this pride month is bringing their biggest collection EVER. 14 new artworks from 12 musicians (including LP), all to benefit Trevor Project.
Soundwaves Art creator Tim Wakefield said:
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with hundreds of artists throughout my career to fundraise for dozens of charities, and few are as deserving of funds as The Trevor Project. We are thrilled to not only be a part of their Pride Month campaign, but also to have worked alongside such an incredible array of artists to support their work.”
There are three options to choose from when purchasing such artwork. The most expensive ones, are the original artworks created in three colours: navy, green & maroon. These are for $1.400 (for each one). Each original artwork has been hand-signed by LP and Soundwaves Art creator, Tim Wakefield. The artwork is 40″ x 40″ on fine art canvas and ships unframed in a protective tube. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Then, there are signed prints for $230. Signed both by LP and Soundwaves Art creator, Tim Wakefield. The artwork is 24″ x 24″ with a 3″ white border, printed on fine art canvas, and ships unframed with a Certificate of Authenticity. And there are also unsigned artwork prints, costing $75 in two sizes: 24″ x 24″ with a 3″ white border and 12″ x 12″ with a 2.5″ white border on fine art canvas. You can find all three options by clicking here.
It’s always incredible and beautiful when an artist is using his/her voice, power and influence to help and support those who need such help. The artworks are incredible and they totally captured the vibe of the song. I wonder in how many LP fan’s apartments such artwork is gonna hang. And all that with 100% proceeds to the amazing organization.
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
