Last night LP returned to The Fillmore in Philadelphia, venue where she performed several times over the years. It was another successful night that saw some reunions and even a proposal on the stage! @meg.tivta: “Magical things happening last night at LP’s concert in Philadelphia (in addition to LP’s out of this world performance). So stoked to have witnessed this cute couple’s engagement. CONGRATULATIONS! Spread the love.”
It turns out it was proposal between Mary & Nicole, and it is not the first proposal during LP’s gig. I myself witnessed one back in 2017 in London. As for the selist, few changes, you will find a pic by clicking here. And as always, I have collected my favourite quotes about LP and her concert from people who were lucky to have seen her last night.
@742nevergreenterrace: “A fucking religious experience. If you ever get the chance, catch her live. Who wants to come over and dance to her records with me?” @wiz_laqueefa: “thank u LP for ripping my heart out of my chest love u.” @greendantern: “Another LP show on the books. It’s so good seeing a musician that can actually perform better live!”
@skifflewithme: “Reunited with LP after opening up for her band 15 years ago at Asbury Park!! Got to tell her how much her early records meant to me and how inspired I am by her dedication and hard work in the music business. She’s truly a sweet, genuine, authentically awesome soul. She’s about to crush the Fillmore. From 150 seaters to elegant theaters! Rock on LP and thanks for making our day!”
@sassafraskarl: “Lost on you!! LP live is even more unreal than the record.” @cathypoultonphotography: “LP packed Philly’s Fillmore Friday night… the energy in the room was crazy! What a truly unique performer. It’s almost as if she has a genre all her own…” @via_anastasiya: “Night full of pure joy. LP just gets inside of you and twists all of your emotions into a beautiful ball of feelings.”
@azulayaesthetics: “Goddess of song! Such a privilege to have seen LP tonight!” @marannelizabeth: “LP‘s show was absolutely amazing… we cried, we laughed, we cried some more – but most of all, we were caught up in the magic of her greatness and pure swagger, all of the fucking love LP, thank you for a night we will always remember.”
@kylaannbruner: “I didn’t have a panic attack when I met LP, for some reason I just went completely blank and stopped thinking. My confidence outweighed my fear somehow, cracked a few shit jokes, and got the family to take one great picture for times sake. Not sure if I’ll ever have another moment to meet such a beautiful person inside and out, but it’s all thanks to my dad. Christmas came late this year :).”
“LP brought the sunshine back to Philadelphia because not only was it 62 in February, but she also spread smiles upon the crowd with her electricity and grace. Seven hours worth the drive, never thought the day would come that I can talk to this badass. Thank you Korey Dane for the opener, one hell of an upcoming artist. Until next time.”
@lasoldier11:” Before going to this concert I’ve never heard of this artist before, but man did she put on a great show and her voice is freaking amazing. Great time today.” @njshorebreezes: “What a night! What does LP mean to me? Open your heart, leave it raw, and the only identifiable thing about you should be how you make others feel. What an experience!”
@leeniewho: “Best Birthday present ever – LP She blew the roof of the Fillmore. Badass chic.” LP was also reunited with one of her youngest fans ever, Maddie, who was 3 when she attended her first LP concert, Maddie is now ten! For pics click here. LP also met with her friend & producer of her first record, Barb Morrison, who also co-wrote some of the songs from LP’s early records.
Today LP is in New York, where I expect to see many of her friends and possibly family, LP spent quite a lot of time in New York in the early years of her career.

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
