From Denver we are moving to Minneapolis, where LP has given another concert of her US tour. I was quite worried when Live eTown Radio Show Taping got cancelled due to return of laryngitis (illness that successfully postopned her tour), and that this would affect next dates. But so far, so good. I just hope LP knows what she’s doing and there isn’t any risk to her voice.
This time I found many great images of LP’s concert that took place in the mainroom of First Avenue venue, but not as many quotes as I would wish. Anyway, here are the ones I liked the most. @soulprettyaf quoted Plato: “ Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.”
@queenpdog: “LP , making all the straight women lose their shit.” @alyssiakangas: “LP, I’m crying. Thank you for writing and singing the truth!” @esthelagjara: “First concert of the year and it couldn’t be better than LP.” @stevermouth: “Almost too good at music.” @izayakaiden: “I cried so much, thank you LP.”
And one more from Denver’s gig by @hala_starr: “The other night I went to a concert in Denver. LP… It was by far the best concert I’ve been to yet: her lyrics, voice expression, and energetic intensity makes my skin crawl. Her bad ass bitch energy inspires me to elevate myself and pushes my comfort zone to levels and question the questions that need to questioned.”
“That is what good music is… this concert, artist, music changes my existence every time I listen. Find your LP… I am never looking back. Cheers to love, life, and pursuit of happiness… I will see her again!” That’s all for today. PS check my social media for links to photo galleries, interviews with LP and more snippets of LP’s concert that didn’t make it to this post. Today LP plays the Vic in Chicago.
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
