From beautiful Lucerne in Switzerland we are travelling with LP and her band back to Germany where yesterday they performed at Zelt-Musik-Festival in Freiburg – according to the organizer it is the biggest and oldest music festival in Baden-Württembergst in southwest Germany.
We will have a full report from the concert later on courtesy of my friend, but judging from what was shared since last night, the gig was rad and everybody had a blast. I absolutely love this quote from Револуционерка (@jungle_dancer): “Perfection has a name – LP.” Right you are!

I mean, it can’t get any better than listening LP live. I mentioned it several times before, but it still remains true. She is like an addiction – once you saw her live, you cannot get enough. You must travel (no matter how long the distance), but it’s the feeling more powerful than anything you have ever experienced.

That’s why I am dreading so much to write about the concert in Ludwisburg, and simply cannot make myself to do so. Because then the words will be here, and I’ll know that the tour has truly ended for me, and who knows how long will it take this time, before I will see that wonder woman again…

For now I recommend pictures from Karolina (@lp_cz_fan) and just Tasha (@mishkayork). They have captured some amazing moments. Also there is a great gallery of pics at fudder.de, click here. And I simply cannot thank enough my friend Magda, who surprised me with this amazing message from LP!
Magda runs a Fanclub for The Years band, in which Brian – LP’s bass player is the lead singer. Last night boys from the band surprised Magda with a backstage meeting at which LP was also present, and she – no idea how – managed to record this sweet video! Thank you!

Update, here’s report from the concert by Christina (@anitsirch197): “Another great show on Saturday at the Zelt- Musik-Festival (ZMF) in Freiburg/Black Forrest! It was a very nice venue with 2 big tents, smaller tent, stages and a lot of food and bars. The biggest tent – Circus tent – was the stage for the night.”

“We were waiting the whole day with a lot of old and new friends from the Netherlands, Austria, Czech-Republic, France and of course Germany. We had a really good time, it was like meeting with a family. Also enough to drink and eat! Gladly the weather was nice – not too hot and, although predicted, no rain!”

“The Festival area was opened at 2:30 pm, we went inside and straight into the Circus tent which was also open. No security was there to see. We saw the crew and also LP. They were all really surprised. LP turned in our direction, but we decided to go out of the tent because we wanted to give them time and respect.”
“The doors opened at 7 pm, and we could all stand in the first row. The tent was huge (for 2000 people but it was not a sold-out concert) and very nice. Also the stage was very big. Supporting act was Malik Harris from Germany. He was very nice and talented!”

“Then, finally LP started. For me she was great as always! In a very good mood, interacting with us, she jumped down from the stage during ‘Lost On You’. Setlist was the same as on the other concerts. We sadly haven’t heard ‘Recovery’ or ‘Forever for Now’. Don‘t now why as ‘Forever for Now’ has been rehearsed at the soundcheck.”

“There was also an engagement between two very nice German girls. LP announced that before she played ‘Swichblade’. So then she made jokes and said that it is a wrong song for that situation but that it won’t happen to them! It was so nice of her and friendly!”

“Again 1 1/2 hours flew by and much too quickly it was all over. But we were all very happy! A few lucky girls from LP Family Germany and LP Nederland had a meet & greet after the show. They all came out with bright smiles on their faces and they were even more happy! And I was very happy for them. That was our day! A very good and nice day! I was happy that I could be there! Hope we will all see each other again very soon!” Thank you Christina! I do hope for that too!
Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
