Another incredible night was witnessed by LP fans at the Auditorio Blackberry. So many beutiful moments. Last night, when ‘Lost On You’ music was played by the band, LP arrived at the stage wrapped in a garment (poncho) with famous line “Mexico is the shit”. A fashion idea that was born in Mexico, and crafted by Mexican designer Anuar Layon (LP’s friend who was also at the concert!).
In the words of Layón himself: “It is a tribute to all those mexicans around the world that are shifting global culture with their beautiful hearts and brilliant minds; it’s a way to show that we are many and we are together; that we are raising the standards, reminding the world that our voice matters. “Mexico is the shit” is a community, a support system and a movement inspiring love, respect and trust!”
Mexico always held special place in LP’s heart, and now that her music is so loved there, this place must feel to LP like home, more than ever before. Let’s go straight to the quotes, as who can paint a better and clearer picture, if not those who witnessed LP live. Mexico had to wait almost 7 years to see LP, since her performance at the Corona Festival in 2012, but they’ve never stopped loving her – on the contrary…
…LP’s fanbase grew even stronger and it’s so beautiful to see! @tmaclehose: “You give so much on stage… and off it! Thank you LP for this unbelievable gift! Love you!” @lp_madd: “Felicidad día dos!!! We can rock and we can love. You are amazing baby!!” @lpaerosgirl: “Ella es la mejor – She’s the one!” @anaid.castaneda_lp: “Your second night at the Blackberry Auditorium… we love you so much beautiful LP.”
@zoara_montiel: “I’m Speechless, I have no Words to explain the Way LP makes me feel!!! I was Shocked from the Begining until the end. And when she got closer!!!!… Dude!!! That was THE BEST FEELING EVER!!!!!!” @rourquidim: “Que placer !!! You’re amazing my Love.” @claudisgzza: “With her again, Ican’t be more happy. LP I love you so much…!!!!”
@___arthur_rosales: “Only a few know that LP stands for “La Perfección” @paulina0212: “This is how I lived the LP concert in Mexico City, it was an amazing show, and she is incredible. Your lyrics are just the correct version of what we want to say, but sometimes don’t have the courage. Thank you LP.” @karlienriquez: “Amazed by this beautiful voice! LP, THANK YOU.”
@dime.dulciwinky: “There is no word to describe how perfect you are. I owe her so much from songs that brighten my morning, friendships that became family and my dream came true. Thank you LP for showing us your beautiful talent for bringing it to light. Thank you for everything. I love you booboo.” @zyanya_velz: “You are the best!”
@_lurosario: “I’m still excited. Yesterday after hugging you, I couldn’t contain my tears of happiness. It was really amazing to see you. I have definitely fulfilled a dream of seeing you. I waited so much this day and it was definitely worth the hours of standing to capture this moment that I will never forget. Thanks LP for being part of my life and giving me this memory.”
At the concert LP hosted many of her Mexican friends and dedicated “Special” to her late friend Renato Lopez – I’m sure it was a very moving tribute as this song is about Renato (LP has written it to deal with her grief and loss), and the venue saw many of his closest friends that night. It’s one of LP songs that are special to me as well.
One in a million, apart from the crowd
When I think of you now
It’s like callin’ a cloud special
One and the only, don’t leave me lonely
You know what we had
You know it was always special

Anna from Poland. I have been a blogger for a long time, but more in a royal field. Since 'meeting' LP through her music and as a person, a lot has changed. If I'm not working on my blog, I work as a teacher. I love to travel, read & dance. I sing & play uke when no one listens. Music was always a big part of my life.
