After Madrid, LP arrived to La Palma to take part in Isla Bonita Love Festival – festival celebrating equality and diversity. After her arrival LP took part in the press conference at Hotel Hacienda de Abajo, during which LP explained why she decided to take part in it. First of all, LP is all about diversity and equality in every aspect of life, also main subject of her songs is love and all its colors, so festival’s name really spoke to LP.

“I was in the front row, very near the stage, and there everybody was screaming her name. She started as usual with Dreamcatcher, with lots of energy and smiles, that she maintained throughout the performance. She sang the same songs as she has been usually singing, except, I think, for Tightrope, Recovery ans Nice to Know Ya, as she had less time on stage.”

“When she was singing House on fire, a fan from the crowd gave her sort of a rainbow flag and she used it as a bullfighter’s cloak, that pulled the crowd up and I think lot of people there appreciated that. When it was the turn for Other People, she at one point changed the lyrics and sang “gracias” instead of “thank you babe”, I think that was nice from her. And in Special, she said once “especial” like in Spanish.”

“Her perfomace ended of course with Lost on You, and everbody sang along with her. I think most of the people there new only that one song from her, but I’m sure they all new that song. After last night I think a lot of them will try to find out more about LP, because after her performance and much later, as I was leaving, I heard many people saying that the American (as they called her) had sang very well.”

“I think it was unexpected by some people and I’m sure she now has a bunch of new fans from there. I think LP and her band seemed pretty happy on stage after a couple of days resting in La Palma, and I know they all enjoyed their time there. Alex smiled as usual, and even Neal (the drummer) smiled too, and of course LP, she was so beautiful on stage.”

“I believe she was the main artist of the festival (I think no one sang as many songs as her). Her powerful and beatiful voice surprised more than one, I am sure of that. She moved as usual on stage and she even went down to be near some lucky fans. She was the only artist that was given gifts during her performance.”

“Fans threw her t-shirts and other stuff that I saw Talayeh giving back to them after LP left the stage so I think she probably singed them. Last night for sure was my ‘One Night in the Sun’, at a seaside destination… Amazing and great LP, and I’m sure she is now in everybodys’ mouth in La Palma, and in the heart of the ones that love her as we do.”

” A little funny note on LP’s gig in Barcelona on July 15th. At one point she put her harmonica in her pocket, but it fell, and when she tried to reach for it and couldn’t find it she just tried to make the sound of it humming that part. I saw the harmonica in the floor on stage and a few of us started pointing at it until she saw it and picked it up and played it. I think that was funny, only LP could do that and improvise so naturally.”
“Today is the last show for a while and LP and her band and crew will have time to rest and to be with their loved ones (they haye only been home for 10 days since January) and they are looking forward for that. I hope LP can rest a lot these days after all the happiness she has spread, although we the fans always want more.”

“A magical night that our girl offered us and with only 45 minutes managed to hook up to an audience where few knew her and everyone fell in love. Few people knew the lyrics but everyone joined in singing them.” Tonight LP plays last show of the tour at Latitude Festival in UK. She will have two more small performances for Italy, on the 28th July Battiti & 29th Radio Bruno Estate in Modena.
